Hypnos Coffee

Hypnos Coffee was envisioned as more than a coffee shop. It was designed as a destination, a place to linger, connect, and enjoy something thoughtfully made. From the start, we loved collaborating on a brand that balanced storytelling, craft, and a strong sense of place.

Inspired by Parisian cafés, European luxury, and the mythology of Hypnos, the Greek personification of sleep and dreams, the visual identity blends ornate, hand-drawn illustration with clean, elegant typography. A rich, earthy palette and flexible logo system give the brand depth and longevity, with a sense of quiet mystery and discovery.

This project holds a special place for us. Seeing the brand take shape so beautifully in Portland, particularly across the merchandise, has been a reminder of what thoughtful branding can do when it’s given room to live, evolve, and be experienced.
